WHAT'S NEW ON YODA'S DATAPAD 4 June, 2010 The novel list has been updated. Fate of the Jedi number five, Christie Golden's Allies, was released last month. I've also gone through the list and removed the "newly released" bold marking for a couple of books that came out more than a year ago. 16 March, 2010 I've just updated the novel list, and also added a new feature to it. You'll now see upcoming Star Wars books listed in blue at their proper points in the timeline. For now I've only included books coming in roughly the next 12 months, largely because many of the farther-off releases have uncertain timeline placements, or even titles. The new release I've added is Aaron Allston's Backlash, the fourth installment in Fate of the Jedi, an ongoing series set 40 years after the movies. 6 March, 2010 The novel list has been updated with two new 2010 Star Wars releases. Crosscurrent is a novel by Paul S. Kemp that interweaves storylines set decades after and millennia before the movies. Clone Wars Gambit: Stealth is the fourth installment of the popular book series inspired by The Clone Wars TV show. 11 December, 2009 Hi everyone! I recently renovated our Star Wars FAQ, updating old information and adding a number of new questions and answers. Have a look! I've also updated the novel list to include Dynasty of Evil, the third book in Drew Karpyshyn's Darth Bane series, which tells the story of one of Palpatine and Vader's most important Sith predecessors, a thousand years before the time of the movies. 10 November, 2009 New icons have been added! For the first time ever, Yoda's Datapad now has Luke Skywalker buddy icons for download! I also added some of R2-D2, a few of the other main characters from the old movies, and two new ones from The Clone Wars CG-animatd TV show. Click here for MSN/Windows Messenger icons (large icons; also good for Skype), or here for AIM/AOL buddy icons (small icons). 30 October, 2009 The novel list has been updated for two October new releases: Death Troopers, "the first Star Wars horror novel" by Joe Schreiber, and Imperial Commando: 501st, Karen Traviss's post-Episode III continuation of her popular Republic Commando series. 19 September, 2009 I've updated the novel list for the last year and a half! So sorry it took so long. I'll be updating this list regularly from now on.
